Hi,
I've overclocked the i7 3820 on P9x79 Pro with TurboV. Now I can't return to the default BIOS settings.
My steps are:
- Remove motherboard battery,
- Reinstall BIOS,
- Clean reinstalled Windows (10) each time I try to set OC back to defaults.
The system keeps restarting with unstable OC configurations.
I'm not sure what else I should try.

I didn't remember those switches, but that's understandable. It's good to go back and fix the issue. For next time, it's better to use switches or UEFI separately instead of trying to do both at once.

The unusual scenario is that taking out the CMOS battery seems to resolve the issue. It's unclear how long it was removed, but a one-minute duration appears adequate. The specific settings that remain unchanged are not specified.

Try taking the CPU out of the socket for a minute. It could be a motherboard problem.

Thanks guys! I have found the problem. On the board there is switch TPU. I had to turn it on somehow. I was doing a lot of stuff lately with board. When the switch is on, the board is automaticly OC my CPU. Weird and useless really.
