Sometimes it’s simpler to just take over. I’ve owned an official copy of Win8 for a while now (bought it from Microsoft), but I prefer a pirated version since it’s much more straightforward to set up and reinstall.

I'm feeling the same way too. I've chosen to finally get a real operating system, though I think if Microsoft wants to take this route, I can follow suit...

It seems quite unusual... but switching RAM doesn’t turn off 10. I’m sure since I’ve already tried it a few times, reactivation would likely need an automated method.

I understand, I’m okay with paying for the license, but using the pirated version feels much simpler since MS BS keeps causing problems with Hackintosh.
