I'm facing the issue of installing Windows 11 on my PC and receiving the error "This PC can't run Windows 11." The system details are listed, including CPU, motherboard, memory, GPU, and storage. I attempted to format the SSD to NTFS but encountered difficulties. I followed the BIOS steps and chose a custom installation, selecting the large SSD partition. However, Windows reported it couldn't create a new partition or find an existing one. What should I do next?

You're trying to set up Windows 11? From inside Windows 10? Or by using a Windows install media USB drive? The requirements for Windows 11 are: UEFI mode must be enabled in BIOS, secure boot should be activated, and TPM needs to be turned on.

The source that suggested this was likely the one you considered first. Check it out for more details.

I am booting from a Windows 11 USB. This is a new build, so I can't do it inside any OS right now.

You received your install image from Microsoft and created it using the Media Creation Tool?

Did you turn on fTPM in the BIOS? It's located under security > trusted computing. Also, as discussed earlier, the boot mode should be UEFI. You shouldn't have to enable secure boot, but you'll need to turn on Windows 10 WHQL Support.

I haven't adjusted that setting before, so I'll look it again when I start up next time.

Yeah, just need to turn on the suggestions mentioned in the bios.
Which BIOS revision are you looking for?
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-TOM...AX/support
The current BIOS update modifies the secure boot default, likely involving TPM for Win11 compatibility. If not enabled, you'll encounter the error during installation.
7C02v3F
Description:
- Upgrade to AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.2.0.7. Adjust the Secure Boot default.
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-TOM...AX/support
You don’t need to update the BIOS; the required settings are already present. A newer motherboard version would include the appropriate BIOS by default, allowing a smooth Win11 installation without further changes.
