I've got a similar situation at home. One of my PCs is really using up my internet bandwidth during downloads or game sessions. It affects the whole network—my connection drops or becomes extremely slow, and streaming services like Netflix won't load properly. My other devices stay connected but still experience lag. Do you know anyone with the same problem?

You can typically fix the issue by adjusting the QoS settings on your router. Determine whether the device is connected via a wired or wireless connection.

It's typical when no specific guidelines are established in the router settings. Search for "QOS yourroutername" and follow the instructions provided. QOS means Quality Of Service.

Estimate your needs for other devices and reduce by roughly 10%. For streaming at 1080p, aim for about 8 mbits per device, around 1 to 2 mbits per phone, and 4 mbits per PC for gaming. Quality routers from brands such as ASUS can handle this effectively.

If it's a router-related problem, should the effect be consistent across all devices connected to the same network? Or is there another factor at play? I'm not familiar with network configurations or settings, so I'm uncertain. This isn't my usual experience—I've never had this problem before. The issue began after adding PC3. Only PC3 is slowing down my internet speed, while downloading on PC1, PC2, or any of the laptops via Wi-Fi works fine. All devices are connected through a wired network. One laptop was previously wired before PC3 replaced it.

The specifications of your three computers are as follows. Your ISP claims your connection should perform at a certain speed based on the price and package you select. When you conduct a bandwidth speed test, each computer typically delivers a different performance level.

@smack09 The QoS remains enabled on the router. If the router manages the whole network traffic, it must be capable of limiting a client's usage there. Which type of network card is this machine using? Have you attempted to reset the network interface?

Problem: Internet speed drops to 100mpbs as advised by ISP. Performance is around 80-90% when all devices are active (games, social media, YouTube, etc.) and other Wi-Fi gadgets are connected. Downloading large files on any PC except PC3 reduces speed to roughly 50-60%. When PC3 begins downloading something, the rest of the network either loses connection or has very slow speeds. All PCs are using their default LAN ports. If you mean resetting the network settings, I've already tried and it hasn't fixed the issue.
