My Bluetooth range appears to have dropped recently. My headphones frequently disconnect when I move past my door in the room with my desktop PC. They would cut out even while sitting at my desk and when blue screened, but after reinserting the antenna they function properly until I exit the room. This has never happened before. I'm running an ASUS B650-A ROG Strix Gaming WiFi AMD AM5 ATX motherboard, which should be able to pass through my door and into the kitchen across the room. My drivers are current, and the headphones are AirPods Pro 2. So it shouldn't be my headphones.

uncertain about your Bluetooth adapter's functionality if it's a bundled device; consider purchasing an "RG174 Coaxial Cable" and attaching one end to a Wi-Fi antenna, then linking it to your motherboard. Adjust the antenna position slightly and place it on your desk to improve signal reach.

It’s the one that comes with the motherboard. Probably a WiFi or Bluetooth antenna that was installed there. I realized now it’s not cutting out completely—it’s just the sound stopping, and even after reconnecting it, the audio disappears. I’ll have to remove and reattach it to restore the sound.
