i was updating the weapon skins using the ws plugin. the main reason i tried it was just to explore different skins and see what I preferred. i considered getting a m9 bayonet marble fade to check its appearance in person and compare it with other options. i downloaded it because valve seemed hesitant to let me test skins freely. honestly, i don’t believe valve should be restricting this kind of experimentation, especially since it could affect people’s enjoyment and the developers’ revenue from private server testing.
Also, I think it's similar to taking a skin without purchasing it—cool, but once you leave the server, they disappear until you return. It's like you only get those skins while you're on the server.
