This ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F struggles with poor audio during gaming sessions.
I finally managed to upgrade my PC. After nearly three days of assembly, everything is functioning properly except for the audio on my motherboard ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI, which has poor sound quality. Anyone have ideas on how to improve this? It's frustrating and I can't enjoy it anymore. The sound quality is just... terrible, like it's cracking. I'm unsure how to fix it. I searched online and others have reported similar issues. I thought upgrading the BIOS might help, which I did, but it doesn't seem to resolve the problem. Sometimes it improves slightly and I assume it's fixed, but then it fails again. I really don't want to go through the trouble of replacing the board, as I've always liked Asus and returning it is a hassle. It's all built into my system, which took me a lot of time because I rarely have time. Returning it isn't an option at all. Can you suggest a workaround to fix this without replacing the motherboard?
The issue isn't with my speakers.
I've been using the same speakers consistently.
My Asus motherboards have worked fine before.
I always used creative speakers with a 3.5mm jack, so I'm pretty sure this is unrelated.
Searching online with this motherboard shows more reports of the same problem.
Currently, I'm using different speakers, and I'm not keen on replacing my existing setup.
Sending it back would be a hassle, especially after already using it.
I'm hoping it can be fixed without changing anything else.

I tried this on Windows 10, but the quality remains poor. If I lower the volume to around 25% and increase the speakers, it feels a bit better—just a faint hum from the speakers. I’m unsure what to do next. The supplier asked me to send them the motherboard, which will take days to disassemble and mail. I’m feeling demotivated after spending three days working on this. Any alternative solutions? Updating the BIOS? Others have reported similar issues—maybe you can check forums or ask for advice without replacing the whole system? Thanks a lot.
Check if the speakers and computer share the same power outlets they were initially connected to. It might be a ground loop issue.
