Need guidance on assembling an Asrock B550M Steel with 3700x, 32GB GeForce 7500X and two RAM sticks. Everything seems stable but underperforms compared to past builds. I used an MSI B350 Bazooka board before and things improved. Recently updated the BIOS, but Cinebench scores dropped about 15%. Issues noted: 1) Max boost on 3700x is lower than expected (4350MHz vs 4400MHz on B350). 2) Memory compatibility is tricky at 3600MHz with 32GB. I managed to get GeForce Gecko to run at 2660MHz. 3) Power consumption is higher—around 50-60W more than expected. Questions: Are these components often released with such performance concerns? Any tips for memory timing or optimization? I have time on my hands.

I don't think this data is accurate. It seems unrealistic given how new the model is, and everything adds up. I'm using a B450M steel legends 2700 with 4x8 at 2933, but my CPU isn't handling it much better.

They would have preferred believing it could have been a solid board, since everything about the B450/X570 steel legend version was just positive, but they thought every great success has its end.

I encountered a similar issue when I used a 3900x RAM on my Gigabte X470 gaming PC. The memory functioned properly, but the voltage and boost frequencies became unstable for roughly four to five months.

Everything is working, and ASrock will get sorted out. My first time with ASrock. There is a very good chance it is my fault. I only build these things just far enough apart to forget stuff.

I received the same board last week and used beta BIOS 1.10A with AMD AGESA Combo-AM4 v2 1.0.0.2 plus SMU 46.61. Installed two 16GB RAM modules (G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3200C16D-32GVK) with XMP timings set to 16-18-18-38. Everything is working properly. Today I increased the RAM speed to 18-19-19-39 at 3600/MT and set it to 1.35V. Ran several stress tests—success! CB R15 scored 1582 points. My old [email protected] only reached 780 points. Please try flashing the 1.10A BIOS. Edit: I own an R5 3600.
