it's confusing why people purchase keys. I began with a $5 payment to a Steam account after a friend got me CSGO. Since then, I've mainly sold items I don't like, bought skins I enjoy, and run operations using the funds I have—about $15 in skins and $20 in cash. If I were buying keys, I'd just have lost that $5.

i like the randomness of it also it makes my skins feel more special :3 and there's always the chance that i will get something expensive
