Hi everyone, I recently watched Wolfgang's Channel tutorial on building a low-power Unraid server (link provided). I followed the instructions carefully and successfully installed a Fujitsu D3401-A11 GS3 motherboard along with a Corsair RM550x 2021 edition for reduced power consumption. However, I encountered an issue: the board uses a custom 16-pin connector, which adds two extra pins. These pins are also positioned differently than standard, which could cause problems. I found a potential solution here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/154406903453. The main concern is whether this setup will function properly or risk damaging the system. It's worth noting that this server is designed for very low power usage.
It could function, though this approach isn't perfect. The problem lies in the format using +12vsb rather than +5vsb, which means the adapter needs a DC-DC converter for backup power.
I suggest you consider your options carefully and think about what best suits your needs.
