I first upgraded from 7 to 10 because an SSD with Windows 7 was registered on the same hardware. As others have told me, that was a huge mistake. I tried resetting it while keeping user files, but it didn’t help—it remained unstable. I then backed up, wiped the drive clean, and installed fresh using the key from magicaljellybean. After the initial setup, it crashed with an irql_not_less_or_equal error. My luck seems to be working now; my new motherboard has a dead RAM slot. This issue is noted in the build log. I removed the faulty RAM stick and the start menu stopped working. Should I reinstall this time?
