Third-party software suite fails to initialize personal fan settings during boot.
I began using Chasis fans 1-3 on the motherboard. I created custom profiles for each fan and saved them to their profiles. This setup functions well until I power off the PC, put it into sleep mode, or restart it. At that point, AI suite applies its default fan control settings. To ensure your custom profiles start with the default behavior at boot, you’ll need to adjust the startup configuration accordingly.
I just used the Fan Expert to have my fans set for me as they are saved and apply on start up. So that is something don't have that much experience with.
I checked it multiple times to fix the issue. Looked in the BIOS to find any conflicts. Nothing worked. Might need to contact Asus support.
I understand it's a familiar issue, but I'm still trying to provide useful answers. Your question seems repetitive—just sharing the same concern again. If you're seeking real help, please clarify your needs so I can assist effectively. It's frustrating when solutions aren't clear.
I realize this is an old post, but I found a solution and this thread was one of the few that popped up as I searched around. In case anyone is still having this problem, I saved over the default profile with my custom settings by: Make all the custom settings you want and save it to a new profile Show hidden files and navigate to C:/ProgramData/Asus/DIP/FanXpert/Profiles where AI Suite saves all profiles. Rename the profile file "Standard (ASUS)" to anything else, and then rename the file that is your custom profile to "Standard (ASUS)" Reboot. AI Suite will load "Standard (ASUS)" that now contains your custom settings.
