Hey everyone, I just purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad L13 Yoga Gen4 AMD version. I’m facing a problem where the screen remains completely black after closing and reopening the laptop lid, even though the power button light is on and the fan is spinning. The only workaround I’ve tried is holding the power button for 15 seconds to fully shut it down, then turning it back on. I’ve also checked the energy settings for a fast startup disable, but that didn’t help. Changing the action from sleep to hibernate when closing hasn’t resolved it either. I’m also trying the win+control+shift+b shortcut to reset the graphics driver, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Make sure all drivers and firmware are updated using the Lenovo System Update tool. Is the device still working? For example, can you hear Windows sounds in the background? If you connect an external monitor, does it display an image?

Sorry for the delayed response. The Lenovo System Update tool indicates all drivers are current, but I don’t hear any sounds when the laptop is on this setup. Even with an HDMI-connected external monitor, nothing appears. I’m assuming the issue isn’t related to the screen itself.
