Thinking the TP-LINK Switch SH1008 is harming my internet connection
Hello guys, I want to precise first, I'm french. So, I've decided to upgrade my network to 2.5g. This is my current setup (I tried to do it as clear as possible...with paint) ( 1 ) : Plex / Unifi Server --> MAG B550M Mortar (2.5 Gig network card) ( 2 ) : Switch QNAP QSW-1105-5T (5x 2.5 Gig) ( 3 ) : TrueNAS Server equiped with https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000216682679.html (RTL8125b) ( 4 ) : TP-LINK SH1008 (8x 2.5 Gig) ( 5 ) : PC1 equiped with https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000216682679.html (RTL8125b) Ok, so the problem is the following, if I plug this my network keeps shutting down, sometimes it last for hours and then drops. I have 1 Gig optical fiber to the router. I had no RJ45 connection directly to the router at some point, so I changed it with the ISP. But.... same problem, it didn't kill the Rj45 this time but dropped the connection drastically. So I unplugged the last equipement added, the (4) TP-LINK SH1008 and put back my old 8 gigabit port... and guess what, it's back to normal. So seems normal obvious that the switch is killing the network, but do some of you had a similar issue ? Do I need to send it back ? Is it a config problem ? (Is it a PSU issue? Original plug is CN and there adaptator to EU plug, could it be able to overpower? the rj45 and kill the router). Seems weird to only have the router killed I hope you understood everything and thanks for your time
