I run Windows 10 on a computer that fits everything except the CPU. It won't start up. Why is this happening and are there fixes I can try?

Why do I have to follow what MS says? Because that is all they say. To get around the rules, you just read this site on how to skip Windows 11's needs for TPM, CPU and RAM using simple tools to put it on any PC.

Your computer might lack TPM support, and that rule was set by Microsoft for new versions of Windows 11. Even though there are tricks to fix this, some users say you won't be able to get those updates. A few people claim they still work, but it isn't always certain.

It has 4 cores and runs at 4 gigahertz speed with 64-bit support. It comes with a big main hard drive that holds 250 gigs, plus one extra drive for about 1 terabyte of space. And it's got 16 gigabytes of memory to use. Is there more?

My computer is really good. It's fast and has more features than some newer models. I'm not sure if the TPM works well, so I'll need to test it soon.

I was trying to find a specific make and model. Something like an Intel i5-xxxx. Basically, any particular specs you'd want to know about anything.

Hey, I'm using a PowerSpec PC with an Intel Core i7-6700K CPU, a 64-bit setup on an ASRock motherboard called Z17O with an LGA-1151 socket. It has a Samsung SSD with 250GB of storage (labeled C) and a Toshiba hard drive that's 1TB in size.

Your computer does not have TPM built-in. If you really needed something like that for Windows 11, maybe you should wait until the version dies out on Windows 10 and then pick one path or another instead.

Watch out for a new upgrade. I've heard some people have trouble running old games on a newer computer, like things before 2018. My Fallout 4 (released in 2015) runs great on Windows 11 after all the updates. But this PC already had Windows 11 installed. See my signature.
