4k equals four times the pixel density of 1080p, and 30fps is half of 60fps. This refers to frame rate, not refresh rate. 1440p is about 1.7 times the pixel density of 1080p, but that’s not a direct match. Using established numbers, you could likely run 1440p at 60fps on a GTX1080 with ultra graphics—it should work fine.

It seems you're aiming for a resolution between 1080p and 4K 30, which should work fine. A 1080p or 980 might be better options.
