Unless there is a desparate need to get it now I wouldn't do it on a loan, stocks will get better and prices will fall to closer to MSRP. If you can wait I would
I believed I received a 5800x, it was available when I placed the order but seems like it switched to pre-order during checkout—no issue. The item isn’t listed on the site, though I have my confirmation email. I’m disappointed and might consider the 5600x instead since a nearby store still has them.

I managed to secure 2,595 units for myself and a friend from B&H. It was a preorder, so I’m uncertain about the shipping timeline.
I arrived at Memory Express this morning and managed to pick up a motherboard along with a preorder for the 5900X... I guess I was like the 17th person in line when they opened the store, so I’m not sure how much is available. I just wish I could get this CPU into my build before the month ends.
I contacted B&H and they confirmed they'll have more items available starting Monday next week, meaning it should be dispatched then!
