Hey everyone, I'm facing a strange issue. When I power on my system, the MBOO splash screen doesn't appear, and I don't have an option to skip BIOS. The only way to enter BIOS is by swapping my DVI cable and connecting it from the GPU to the motherboard via IGUI. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this so I can boot into BIOS? I'm using an ASUS Z390-E motherboard.
Why bother with the BIOS key? It doesn’t really matter if it gets you in.
I can't see bios without connecting my DVI cable to the motherboard, but my GPU is functioning perfectly otherwise.
I reviewed the manual briefly—most likely you need to connect the monitor to the Motherboard’s DVI port. Open the BIOS, navigate to the TOOLS menu, then select the GPU Bus option and view GPU details. Confirm the PCI-e slot matches your GPU. In the BIOS settings, check the BOOT menu for CSM Compatibility support configuration. There shouldn’t be any adjustments there that influence GPU selection, though a PCI-E/PCI expansion device setting might need verification.
