I placed an order for two Kingmax Zeus Dragon 8GB 3000MHz CL16 RAM sticks. I want to confirm whether they will work together in dual-channel mode since they are two single-channel units, or if they’ll remain in single-channel configuration. This is important so I can decide whether to cancel the order and purchase a dual-channel kit instead.

They'll be fine if you place them in A2 and B2 levels

The main distinction between two single sticks and a dual-channel "kit" lies in the guarantee of identical sticks from the same batch. This concern arises only when batches vary slightly in properties or when you purchase entirely different sticks—such as one single-rank and the other dual-rank, or differing timings. Generally, it’s not a big deal; two distinct sticks will operate according to the slower one, but opting for kits provides reassurance. Since you ordered two identical RAM sticks, a dual-channel kit is likely a similar experience.
