It's a budget-friendly approach that seems reasonable for the finance team at Dell, though it may not deliver much value unless they reach a massive sales volume. Still, they're sticking with the usual 8-pin EPS port on the motherboard.

It's an 8-pin connector but only has 6 cables, which makes it amusing.

The lone 8-pin module can deliver 384 watts effortlessly, while the 6-pin version falls short—not because it’s important for OEMs, but just a simple oversight.

Because its a classic Dell/Alienware move. Penny pinching, they also like proprietary crap. Though this isnt one of those examples. The motherboard is an example of their penny pinching, its a OEM bored from the looks of it, they are charging over $3100 for a cheapo MB, cost cutting PSU, and POS case, while the actual 'spec' of the build can be done for $1000 less. Getting angry over it is pointless, they have been doing this crap for over a decade, so u just have to laugh, while also feeling sorry for the poor sap who actually buys one of these.

They understood that adding more cables boosts power transmission. It seems they assumed six was sufficient and omitted the remaining two for budget considerations.

In an ideal world, would this suit most individuals, especially those operating at peak performance levels?
