Yeah, no. HWmonitor is not the best solution. HWiNFO will give more accurate results on Ryzen 1000 and Ryzen 2000 than HWmonitor. HWmonitor particularly will periodically show incorrect max speeds. Ryzen Master will be most accurate for all generations. In regards to Ryzen 3000 you'll want to use Ryzen Master to avoid waking the CPU from idle states.
