The issue is misalignment of the openings. The standard grid pattern has been distorted, causing you to be off-center and damaging the power regulators.

You receive a 1366 cooler and secure it with a zip tie.

Pinner refers to something weak or insufficient. It seems to describe a budget, low-capacity cooler.

The key insight lies in the naming, especially the HP carver rev A reference. The main board model stands out clearly.

It's late when my mind struggles to recall simple names, opting instead for a quick thought. LGA3647 coolers seem to fit perfectly...

I also think so. It works really well; I won’t pay $2 for a cooler that doesn’t chill. Missed the layout file for the mobo. Updated March 3, 2021 by LST0032FV

Found the confusing guide. The device was an HP Compaq Elite 8300 Convertible Minitower PC. File ID: c03612799.pdf

Impressive find! The part number is noted, and it seems the term "pinner cooler" was accurate.

Finally! Thanks a lot! The power connector was really tricky, but the manual helped a lot. Sorry about the HP issue—I wish there was a company that could challenge industry standards. The cooler should work fine in my system, though I’m planning to install a 92mm fan (no matter what). The mounting setup is odd, but I appreciate everyone’s creativity and help with this problem. This was tougher than dealing with my K8N Neo, but I’ll go ahead and upgrade to a new cooler.
