It’s intriguing to imagine what hasn’t been revealed yet. If something is just released now, others might rush to share their concerns.
many titles are available that feel fresh to players. it’s important to explore new options. people should keep up with the latest releases, even if they aren’t great. we’re simply letting Ubisoft take control of this situation.
Who is targeting you and how? I’m fed up with hearing the same things about Ubisoft titles. You might think they’re the only game makers, but there are many others offering great support and creativity. Unless you’re the person who’s played every one or needs a new AC every six months.
Consider broadening your perspective. That comment might seem like an insult, but honestly, my emotions still matter. Right now I’m okay with playing some casual games, and I also appreciate older titles. Plus, I don’t want to waste a lot of money on entertainment. Staying focused on the present helps me avoid getting caught up in past debates.
Most of you agree, if games paused for a year I’d still be fine. There are plenty of titles I should’ve tried as a PC player but haven’t. Fresh releases keep arriving and I enjoy buying them.
People expect titles to be appealing. I must confess, though, the past few months I’ve rewatched Mass Effects, Witcher 2, and Batman series without playing any of these new releases except WoW beta and Mordor, which kept me busy for a while. The last game that truly captivated me was Dark Souls 2. Dragons Age Inquisition will be my first new title in a while. Thank you for Gedosato tool and the downsampling feature. These older games often look better than the latest ones, which is quite amusing. Now if only someone could recreate all the textures in KOTOR. I’ve tried Sniper Elite 3 and the first 20 minutes felt decent, just like with Alien Isolation. Eventually, I’ll tackle them all.
I agree with the OP. Unless you do nothing but play games all the time there's no way anyone can get through all of even just the well reviewed games they're into. I have a backlog as long as my arm which even includes a small handful of games that I haven't even started yet. Worse yet I'm always adding to it and in the last week I threw Metro 2033 and Just Cause 2 onto the pile. Playing Arkham City, Shovel Knight and Smash Bros on 3DS ATM so I can pretty easily skip some of these new games without running out of things to play. Though it does suck with Assassin's Creed. Black Flag was fantastic and I'd kinda like to be playing something like that but new more than anything else. Plus even though new PC games are a bit average ATM I'll probably still be suckered in to getting Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2 for my Wii U. That'll screw my backlog over even more. Smash Bros is a time sink and Platinum's games I love but never seem to be able to finish.
