Hey there! Just a reminder to stick with the 8-pin connector only. The extra four pins are just for overclocking if you really want to push it. Let's get this done!

Great job on the guess! Thanks for the help. I was puzzled because the plug shapes didn’t match, but it still worked. I expect it will take about 3 to 5 months until the GPU boots up and the extra SSDs are installed.

Radiator positioning is acceptable as long as there’s no strain or bending involved. Based on the inspection of the pump and block area, everything seems fine.

I received my old 980 and need to downclock it, but I don’t want to have to remove the NVIDIA when upgrading to AMD.

The 980 model was the primary reason for initiating a fresh build. It needed to be downclocked about 150 from its default settings to prevent system crashes. The event viewer reported issues such as "nvidia driver hung for 0.0000078sec-driver successfully restarted," though these never resolved.
