In reality, RAM speed refers to megabytes per second, not megahertz or gigahertz.
Eventually DDR5 might hit speeds exceeding 10,000MT/s, which could become very realistic. However, DDR has traditionally been measured in MHz, with frequencies like 2666 and 3733 being common and not unusual. Expressing it in GHz doesn’t add much clarity, so sticking to the familiar naming system makes more sense for everyone.
I've noticed this too. It's becoming clearer that simply checking with CPU-Z isn't enough; stability matters more now.
