Hi, your Z690 Gigabyte Arous pro is supposed to light up automatically when powered on. It seems the default behavior might not be working as expected. Since your LED fans are already running and you can’t access the BIOS, the issue could be with the power circuit or a faulty boot sequence. Check the power connections and ensure the motherboard is properly seated. If the problem persists, there might be a hardware issue that needs professional attention.

The fan LED rotates while other indicators such as the post code lights up and display numbers and letters. The status red light activates, but the Arous LED at the top left remains off. You're unable to access BIOS and see a black screen.

When I power on the system, the post code keeps producing random numbers each time. This is unusual for my first MOBO with a post code. I noticed the Arous LED on the heatsink should illuminate when the computer starts up, but it seems to stop at C1. The status red LED appears to be connected to the DRAM. I suspect a RAM issue, so I’ve tested each RAM module in different slots—even using a single RAM and no RAM at all. Still, I can’t access the BIOS and see any display. Here’s what I have: Intel Core 12900K, Kingston Fury beast 5200mhz, 16x2 DDR5 RAM, Corsair rm750x CPU cooler, Master 360 illusion. I tried without the 3080 chipset but got the same problem with my old 1060.

C1 usually points to a DRAM issue. It’s likely the CPU’s memory controller is broken, the motherboard slots aren’t working, or the DRAM itself is faulty. Sometimes the RGB lights up only after the system boots up, which happens with my Z590 AORUS Elite.

Is it normal to have all the fan LEDs on when the computer isn't powered on? Just switching the power back on my PSU makes the fan LEDs light up.

The fan LED is linked to a separate controller or PCB, such as a Corsair Node/Commander or TT control, not the main motherboard RGB headers.
