This situation has rarely occurred in Firefox before. I wasn't able to locate anything in Event Viewer, and the Reliability History didn't record any related events. I've run sfc /scannow, and I'll let you know if it continues. However, I might need guidance on using DISM to resolve the issue.
for testing purposes only, check if the issue persists with Firefox, such as with an outdated extension or similar, then try Edge or Chrome. If not, boot Firefox in safe mode and install one extension to reproduce the error again. After that, remove or replace the problematic extension or update it to resolve the problem.
So I plan to follow my usual approach for similar issues.
I would adjust the network settings by updating the DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1. While you're in this setting, switch off IPv6.
The standard DNS configuration relies on your router acting as a proxy to the ISP's DNS server. The router tries to store DNS information locally. Many ISP DNS servers also cache data.
This should theoretically improve performance by reducing the need for repeated queries. However, modern websites often use virtual addresses, meaning they don’t reside at one physical location.
It’s possible that using an outdated IP address causes the page to fail to load. After refreshing, a new DNS query might resolve from a different server.
This is just a suggestion—trying it won’t guarantee a fix, but it’s worth a shot.
