Looking for advice on ASUS ROG B850F / B850A / B850E / X870, MSI MAG B650 / B850 / X870 tomahawk / MPG B850 or Gigabyte/ASRock boards with Realtek ALC4080 audio chip? I’m experiencing low microphone volume when using the 3.5 mm mic port (mic-in or line-in). Some posts mention this chip, but when I connect a USB headphone, everything works fine. If you’re using a 3.5 mm port for your mic, does it function properly? Is your voice clear and audible? Do you hear normal sound in Discord or similar apps? This is particularly relevant for users with 3.5mm headphones and a splitter setup (separate mic and headphone jacks). What’s your experience?

I haven't tried any of those effects yet, but I ran into low microphone volume issues before. Just curious—have you checked the gain settings in Properties?
