Hey everyone. I just installed AI Suite 2 to manage my fans, but about an hour after setting up my custom fan curves, the rear fan stopped working. I can still control it via AI Suite by adjusting the RPM, but when I switch to smart mode, it doesn’t respond. I’ve attached a picture for more details. Could you help me figure out what’s going on? Thanks!

Adjusting the entire curve to maximum causes it to spin at full speed. All fans in your setup aren’t necessarily identical—some may use PWM while others are 4-pin. You’ll need to tweak temperature or RPM values for each fan to get the right performance.

I'm not sure about this setup since it's my first computer. I used an Enthuo Pro and installed a BitFineix Spectre Pro LED fan. I placed it on the back and used the old rear fan inside. The rear fan doesn't spin and isn't a 4-pin connector. I'm not sure if it uses PWM or something else. The fan only turns on at the lowest speed I set, but it stays off when the PC is idle.

It isn't a 4-pin connector, it connects to a motherboard header and functions with other fans. The issue was the incorrect screenshot—smart mode doesn’t work even though it operates normally otherwise. I can adjust settings but not in smart mode. It’s unclear how to share a screenshot here, so please let me know if you need further guidance.

It depends on what you mean by "it." If you're referring to a 4-pin connector, yes it would be required. But if you're talking about the motherboard, it does have four pins, though you might only use three for your setup. Your fans don’t need to match that pin count.

The fan uses just three pins while the motherboard accommodates four. Still, I manage to adjust other fans instantly, which aren't four-pin connectors.

I'm not sure, could you provide more details about the issue?
