I assembled this pc last year in November. It functioned properly until a week ago when it suddenly stopped working. I purchased a new power supply today, and it worked fine initially. After turning it off, I went to visit friends and returned now—it won’t turn on. I’m confused about any assistance. I replaced all cables with new ones from the PSU. Also, does this PSU include a power cable? I don’t see it in the box (CoolerMaster MWE GOLD 850W - V2 Full Modular).
Begin by inserting the step into slot 1. Arrange it on a wooden table or cardboard box to verify if it stays secure outside the case; avoid doing this on carpet. If it stays in place, inspect for any unexpected connections inside the PC case that might be causing shorts. Ensure your case power button headers are properly connected to the board—positive and negative as specified.
Before attempting it, I simply plan to reuse the same power cord since I didn’t receive a replacement with the new PSU.
