I'm experiencing unusually high temperatures on two of my readings while using the Asus B550-F Gaming with a 5600x. My investigation found mixed information online—some sources suggest these could be real, others claim they're not. Upon checking the motherboard directly, nothing indicates overheating to 70 or 80°C. All available BIOS and drivers are current. I noticed AMD didn't have a driver for the 5600x recently, which might seem connected but could also be unrelated. CPU temperatures in Ryzen Master look normal, and other monitoring tools show similar results. Thanks.

I saw similar outcomes as you mentioned, so it’s not just your case. My CM Storm Sniper BE has excellent airflow, featuring a 200mm fan that directly hits the motherboard and components. The temperature gauge shows around 30°C right now. Previously, with the first-gen Ryzen, they reported inaccurate readings, which is unusual for me. I filed a complaint with Asus about their slow resolution of these problems, as this issue is minor compared to the many others I faced during setup. LAN drivers didn’t function at all, and there was limited guidance available—sometimes I had to connect my phone’s Wi-Fi to Windows Update for a working driver, which is functional but not reliable long-term. The worst part was that even the motherboard’s included LAN drivers failed completely. Both the board and CPU wouldn’t boot without modification; I had to perform a BIOS flashback just to get it running. Their QVL list remained non-functional until I raised a concern, after which they addressed only part of the problem. Their responses were generic and automated. In short, this high-end board doesn’t seem as exceptional as some cheaper options that appear to have fewer issues.
I resolved it by taking it out of the list, so it’s no longer being tracked.
