These RAM sticks remain active even when the system is in sleep mode.
Hello everyone! I just put in new RAM modules for my PC and noticed the RGB lights still stay on even when I power it down. Previously they turned off during sleep mode, but now they don’t. Here are the specs: TEAM T-FORCE DELTA RGB 3 2GB (2X16GB) DDR4 3600MHZ, Phanteks Eclipse P360X RGB glass, Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD, MSI B450M motherboard, Windows 10 Home, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, Corsair iCUE H100i, and a few other components. The RAM stays lit with a steady color, while the GPU and lights behave differently. I have iCue software for controlling the LEDs. Any tips to silence them would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
It's because the ram is always recieving power in sleep mode. Afaik there's nothing you can do about it.
I've had Team T force delta rgb ram too, and my RAM would turn off when in sleep mode. Only the small motherboard indicator stayed lit, even when fully powered down, and I couldn't determine a solution. Last night I left the PC on overnight with all RGB disabled for a download, and now when I put it to sleep, both the RAM and the motherboard light remain active. My RAM stays white, but the motherboard light cycles through rainbow colors again.
