Hi everyone - The PC upgrade last night caused it to stop posting. Previously it worked without issues. I’m currently troubleshooting in the case. It’s a Coolermaster 80+ bronze 750W B450 DS3H with a Ryzen 5 5600X, four Corsair LPX 2400MHz sticks (8GB each), a 32GB Samsung 250GB SSD, one 2TB HDD and a 4TB HDD. The power supply is new, the 5600X is brand new. I’ve been using a Gigabyte Eagle 6650XT, which I’m taking out of the system now for easier diagnosis but was functioning properly before. I’m connecting the HDMI from the motherboard to monitor it. I’m pretty sure the issue is with the CPU. I’ve been running a Ryzen 3 2200G for years. When I first installed the 5600X it didn’t post. After searching online, I found that the B450 DS3H required a BIOS update to support it. I reinstalled the BIOS on the 2200G, downloaded the latest version, created the flash drive and updated successfully. Swapping the 5600X back in still caused the problem.
Updated to 2200G again. Reinstalled GPU and the new 2TB NVMe drive I purchased; everything functions properly. It seems likely the problem is with the 5600X. Might be a driver issue—checked the pins out of the box and they were fine.
