Hey, the Witcher 3 is running at 4K Ultra, but the character models aren’t great. I don’t think that’s expected for an open-world game meant to be more linear. If you need, I can find 4K downscaled screenshots of Geralt’s face and line them up with Nathan’s for comparison.

there is still no direct comparison since uncharted isn't available for PC, so we can't make a fair assessment. Every statement comes from your perspective based on the images provided. Just think about Witcher 3 in this way, comparing it to the versions on PC and consoles.

There have to be compromises if you're not focusing on the visuals—it comes down to resolution or frame rate. Take a look at the trailer; for instance, at 5:00 the grass density and detail are incredible. Or at 5:30 when they’re driving through mud with visible tire tracks... The lighting and the amount of realistic physics also play a huge role. I can tell just by seeing it.

However, we're evaluating a game's on-screen graphics alongside another title that hasn't been released yet, and we're unsure whether the visuals are from the actual game or just cutscenes.

I see your point, but when you look at Naughty Dog's E3 showcase versus the actual game footage, there’s no clear downgrade. I’m focusing more on the character models because they matter. Regarding polygons, even with more processing power, we’re not prioritizing them for PC games in that way.
