Hey, anyone? Will the 2200g handle those games? I’m thinking about using either 1x8 at 3000MHz DDR4 or 2x8 at the same speed for titles like Arma 3 CS:GO, Overwatch, PUBG, Fortnite, and Rainbow Six Siege. I’m pretty sure it can manage most of them, but I want to make sure it runs at least 30 FPS with 1080p and full 3D resolution. What do you think?
Supports dual channel at 3000MHz. At baseline settings, 1080p delivers significantly higher frame rates—around 60fps compared to 30fps.
You can hit 20-30 frames per second in Arma 3 with high settings at 1080p on a 2200G. It runs smoothly at around 30 fps, but performance drops when you focus on aiming and shooting. Reducing the settings boosts speed but sacrifices visual quality. This is noticeable in a game that's only five years old, especially since graphics change dramatically when you lower the settings. At least I notice these differences. Regardless of the setting, the game remains functional in my view. The key is clearing unused RAM from your standby state—check your resource monitor in the task manager before launching. This applies to most games, including BF1. If you need help freeing standby RAM, try Process Hacker. Open it, go to System Information, click More, then Empty, and finally Empty Standby List. It may seem tedious at first, but it’s straightforward once you get the hang of it. Don’t let the name intimidate you—it’s a reliable tool with many useful features.
Use dual channel RAM for APUs, but you can still play all games by overclocking the GPU in Ryzen Master to around 1.25GHz. For more details, check this guide: https://www.techspot.com/article/1579-ov...n-3-2200g/
