Completed the setup, everything functions smoothly. Running Windows 11 with Steam installed. All drivers and software updated. The case fans are notably loud, particularly at the front. Any suggestions?
The front panel case fans on the HAF 700 Evo produce the most noise.
I manage DC fans and any PWM fan as well. Once you set the BIOS properly, you can utilize Fan Control in Windows for more precise fan management. It's useful because it can adjust case fans based on GPU temperatures—even when HDD temperatures are high.
This software helps manage fans effectively, and even JayzTwoCents praises it. How can you tell if your HDD requires extra cooling? It was designed as a sample. At the end, I suggest what I initially overlooked! Your Windows seems very stable, so most desktops could gain from a GPU temperature limit fan setting.
The BIOS updates remain important even after using Armory Crate and its features.
Did you verify the fans are configured properly for PWM or DC as Schnoz mentioned earlier? No, you haven't, aside from that point. Bios remains the default, while Armory Crate handles Windows. You might adjust your fan curves manually if desired, but you can also leave it as is. Edited October 8, 2023 by leclod
