Hey there. I just set up a new PC and am working through the setup. My fans are spinning really fast, especially one on the chipset, and it’s getting loud even when things are idle. The temperatures aren’t spiking much, which is confusing. Here are the details: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, ASUS StriX ROG X570 gaming build with 4x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM, WD Black M.2 drives (500GB and 1TB), Corsair iCue H150i Xt AIO, and an ASUS TUF Gaming PSU at 1080p. I’ve noticed sometimes ASUS uses a bit more voltage than expected. Are there any settings in the BIOS or NVIDIA control panel I should check? Thanks!

It seems the chipset fan isn't working at all during half the time—likely the issue isn't resolved yet.

When the mobo enthusiast is pushing hard, something’s wrong. The unit holds a 10W chip and isn’t designed to run continuously. If other fans are also working at full speed, it suggests another issue too. Even without high temperatures, the device is heating up.

Have you considered any concepts? Bios configurations? Potential challenges during development?

Take a look inside to identify the source of the sound.
