I possess a MinisForum UM340 featuring dual Ethernet connections. These ports are intended for 2.5 gigabit speeds. The documentation lists specifications such as DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD, Radeon Vega graphics, and supports Gigabit Ethernet via RJ45 and HDMI/DisplayPort. When checking HWinfo, it displays Realtek RTL8168/8111 as the Gigabit interface, though both models appear as separate controllers. In Device Manager, only the RTL8168 is visible, while the 8111 remains unlisted. The issue seems to be that one controller fails to install or the Windows interface doesn't recognize it. The BIOS notes both PCIe lanes are enabled, but only one port appears in Windows and only a single physical connection works. I've attempted reinstalling from safe mode without success. It's unclear whether this affects functionality, but even with a 10G switch, the port shows as 1G/100M. Another machine connected via the same switch on a 10G port also reports full speeds. This suggests either a faulty port or Windows misinterpreting the configuration. I'm considering that only one port is being used or the drivers might be incorrect.
I actually received the UM340, though the label on the bottom mentions the UM350. I suspect I got it just before the model change, possibly from Amazon. Regarding the ports, Amazon lists two different versions: one says 2x RJ45 and another mentions 2.5G RJ45 LAN. Regardless, the device has two RJ45 ports but only one is functional. The switch is a Netgear GS110EMX.
