I purchased this setup a while back, but recent events prevented me from using it. I’m curious about its performance in titles such as Metro Exodus, Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Gears of War 5, GTA V, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If it handles those well, I won’t have to worry much about other issues. I plan to run it at 1080p and opt for lower settings like medium, since the original machine couldn’t even start these games.

The GPU will determine performance since the CPU is sufficient. Below is a comprehensive 33-game benchmark for the 1660 Ti to help you understand expectations. You can view the graphs here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/24920240

Do you prefer 60 or 144fps? If 60, FH4, Metro Exodus, and Overwatch work well in ultra. Gears 5, GTA 5, and Red Dead Redemption 2 are all demanding graphics, so reaching a smooth 60fps might mean going to medium at the very least, but you should be fine on high rather than ultra.

Is it a 1660 Ti or a 6600? FH4 and GTA should easily reach over 100 on maximum settings at 1080p. Since GTA is quite CPU-intensive, expect a potential bottleneck there. RDR2 might perform around 40-50 with the 1660 Ti, while 70-80 with the 6600. Max settings are 1080p. Uncertain about the other titles.

Hmm, what do you mean? GTA V could have been quite demanding back then… It's been almost nine years since then, but it still isn't that intense now.

These are quite challenging titles you've talked about. Definitely at 1080p with some adjustments to the toughest options, you should be okay and have a smooth gameplay (roughly 30 FPS, ideally closer to 60). Your processor is powerful enough for 1080p, and having 16 GB of RAM covers most games well—though your graphics card will still set the pace. Still, it’s sufficient to run those games at the mentioned resolution and settings. It’s also worth noting how impressive even basic components can be in terms of performance. You don’t need a 3k setup to enjoy high quality, sharp visuals, or demanding gameplay.
