They mentioned MSI made mistakes with the X570 boards, using poor VRMs. I’m curious if it’s worth it given the price. I’ve seen better boards from Asrock and Gigabyte, but I’m not convinced. After some research, a forum suggested the VRMs on the X470 were actually better than those on the X570. So, if it’s true, it might be worth considering a revision for those bad VRMs.

They only offer low-quality carbon options, including Carbon, Edge, Plus and A-Pro.

The most affordable MSI x570 board currently available is the MEG x570 UNIFY, priced near $300. I wanted to highlight it if you're focusing on MSI specifically.

I was thinking about the X570 godlike, but I wasn’t sure if the price for the VRMs was justified.

I appreciate the options on the MSI Godlike X570, but I’m not focusing on upgrading the VRMs right now.

They're suggesting ways to break down the challenge of handling high-performance systems. It seems they're questioning why people insist on demanding extreme power output, noting that newer generations are actually more efficient. The idea is to match phase counts with component capabilities rather than forcing outdated expectations.

Are you concerned about purchasing premium items from a brand because their basic offerings aren't impressive? The Godlike (and Ace, Unifi, Creation) offers quite excessive VRMs.

It won't destroy anything. MSI invests in research too. Perhaps they concentrate more on premium systems... godlike and extreme options are quite close!
