I'm facing an odd issue with my motherboard's memory settings. I'm using an i7-6700K processor paired with a MSI Z270 Gaming Plus slot and Kingston HyperX Savage DDR4 RAM (KHX2133C13D4/8GX). The XMP profile is enabled, which normally works perfectly at 2133Mhz with the listed timings. However, even when I disable XMP in BIOS and set a slower JEDEC profile, the RAM continues to run at its XMP specifications. In Windows, it still shows a voltage of 1.2V but no change in clock speed. It seems the settings I configure in BIOS don't translate properly into actual performance. I've tried adjusting everything and even reset the CMOS, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas on what might be going wrong?
