I've been attempting to customize my RAM for a Ryzen processor using the Ryzen Memory Calculator. However, my modules aren't being detected by thaipoon burner, which seems unusual. My system is running a Patriot Viper 3000MHz with a 2x4GB Patriot Viper 3000MHz chip, model pv48g300c6k. The burner mentions it's a SK Hynix chip, but the DRAM parts listed match Micron models. So what kind of RAM is this? Micron likely has a different die type—possibly SK Hynix or another manufacturer. The component details suggest it's a 4GB DDR4 module with specific specifications, including a nominal height and thickness. It appears to be a standard module from a known supplier, but the identification process is confusing.

Likely it's a micron. However, in terms of quality, it matches Hynix with the same frequency and timing configuration. The Thiaphoon burner isn't always accurate, which is why you see question marks. I made an educated guess, honestly.

I need to understand the chip types used in your calculations.

Not interested in detailed research. My estimate is E-die.
