Indie titles shine because they aren’t dictated by big corporations to fit a specific vision. These games allow creators to experiment and sometimes succeed while other times they don’t. Games like Super Meat Boy, Kerbal Space Program, Papers Please, and FTL are some of my favorites. When it comes to this particular one, it definitely has a nice appearance, but I’m not a fan of survival-style experiences.
Perhaps it's the community I belong to. Whenever over two indie titles become available on PS+, feedback in the comments tends to be negative and critical. It doesn’t seem to match my perception. In fact, it appears to slow down significantly at first.
I actually enjoy many indie games a lot. I often talk about them, but Klei has really made some impressive contributions. The only survival/build game I've truly enjoyed is Don't Starve.
Seems like another survival/build title in the mix—similar to DayZ, Rust, and others. This one adds dunnisoors, which is pretty cool!
