I have a 3950x with high-end 3D rendering workloads. Temperatures peak around 58-59°C under heavy load. Core voltage is stable at ~1.2V, and the system runs at roughly 4GHz. Precision Boost Overdrive is active in Ryzen Master creator mode, but it doesn’t seem to utilize the available thermal headroom. I’m not doing manual overclocking since this workstation is used for professional tasks and I want reliability, yet I still want to push performance further. What options do I have?

Used a 3900X but couldn't overclock much with PBO. Zen2 PBO felt unreliable and not very effective, and the 39xx chips didn’t offer strong real clock OC.

That transaction occurred, though it wasn't as engaging. I traded in my 3900X for a 5900X priced at 500 EUR, which was a year ago.
