From what I've understood, your RAM is quite large, and to install an air cooler such as a ThermalRight would require adjusting the front fan upward to free up space. I'm curious about the trade-offs involved. I prefer air coolers over AIO liquid ones, but only if they won't damage my system.

Your RAM model is Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32.
Intel Core Ultra 7 265K.
You're considering two coolers: Phantom Spirit 120 EVO and Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140.

I expect the negative impact to be small.
A slight temperature variation might not seem important.
Some coolers are built to avoid covering RAM no matter how tall it is.
These designs aren’t problematic.
They’re not necessarily the best value for the price.
It seems your RAM can’t be exchanged for a lower-profile model.
Do you have the exact part number for your RAM?

Adjusting the front fan position poses little issue. The two coolers seem to perform similarly. The PA 140 is a bit bigger, while the PS 120 Evo offers superior fans overall. Personally, I’d choose the cheaper option unless appearance is a priority. For top performance, the Royal Pretor 130 is ideal and typically falls within comparable price ranges depending on location.

I'm not opposed to any fans as long as they cost less than $100. The only purchase I made that I probably wouldn't return is the RAM, since I didn't know it was from Japan. I didn't check their return policy closely, so perhaps it's simpler than it seems.

I believe the height is around 44 mm according to Amazon.

CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 6400MHz CL32 Intel XMP iCUE Compatible Computer Memory - Black (CMH32GX5M2B6400C32)
Just received some updates from ChatGPT and Grok. It might work out.

Phantom Spirit 120 EVO
- Will remove 42 mm RAM, so I'd need to increase the front fan.
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 140
- Will clear 44 mm RAM, I think it will.
Royal Pretor
- Will clear 44 mm RAM, just barely.

I think 44 mm is correct.
Noctua is one cooler brand that has some models that do not overhang the RAM slots at all. There may be others?
Noctuas tend to be more expensive. A mid level single tower model would likely be fine with a 14600K, but I don't know what they might cost at your location.
Looks like nothing wrong with going ahead with the coolers you are now considering.
RGB RAM tends to be a bit taller than non-RGB, which is likely near 33 mm...but you may demand RGB?

I don't care about RGB or lights... I just noticed it on sale and got bored of searching. Being a new builder, I didn't think about the height being an issue. If Thermalrights don't work, I'll check Noctua. Thanks!
