Thanks for the update! I’ll keep an eye on it. Regarding the Grizzly contact frame, it’s likely compatible with a 13th-gen CPU since it’s designed for newer systems.
The 12th and 13th generation contact frames must match perfectly.
It looks like you're mentioning two options, but it's a bit unclear. Could you clarify what you mean by "thermalright" and "thermalright one"? Are you comparing them or discussing something else?
So I installed the contact plate and it seemed to help a little bit, but it still has minor throttling at 100%. I'm curious, should I just let this go? I rarely ever see my CPU loads go even above 90% in most situations, let alone 100. Would I notice any issues in gaming/streaming etc? Seems to have made it about 5-7 degrees cooler.
I tested Cyberpunk with benchmarking and achieved roughly 127 FPS at Ultra ray tracing settings. AIDA64 reported the CPU temperature hovering between 50-60°C during the session, which corresponds to about 50% utilization. Regarding the power usage, it appears the processor can exceed 200W even when idle, which might be unusual but not uncommon depending on the workload.
