We’re discussing NVMe storage devices again. I believe they’re robust enough to handle a swap if handled properly. Typically, they’re made from foam filled with silicone oil.

It would be wise to handle the situation more cautiously when considering swapping the NVMe device later on.

It shouldn't cause any issues. I wouldn't stress over the thermal pads; they could handle it, and it doesn't matter if they don't.
