Hey. It's tough to put into words exactly what's going on—it keeps changing and stops unexpectedly. My PC struggles with the Nvidia App and Battlefield titles, especially Anticheat. The app fails to load with errors, but after a reboot it sometimes works again, only to fail once more. Battlefield games also throw in random crashes whenever I launch them. Occasionally I manage to play through, but everything breaks right after a restart. Both Battlefield 6 and 2042 seem to have the same issues. I've tried cleaning the system, updating drivers, deleting and reinstalling them, even with brand changes, but the problem keeps returning after each reboot.

PC specs: Windows 11 Pro, MSI B550M PRO-VDH, Wi-Fi, Ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 4070, 2x8GB DDR4 from Hyperx Fury (3200MHz XMP), 2x8GB DDR4 from Kingston (same model, just rebranded), Samsung 980 series 500GB SSD, M2 2TB SSD, SNV3S Aerocool 700W PSU.

It's normal for anticheat tools to mention certain overlays, like in the Nvidia application. Do you actually require the Nvidia version? You can skip it during driver installation from the package installer.

I attempted to remove the Nvidia software via Windows App Manager; it worked temporarily until the next game launch. The issue now appears when starting BF6, showing a similar error. Would you consider using DDU to delete the drivers and then reinstalling them from the installer package?

I would remove the NVIDIA app from your system. Windows App Manager isn't always accurate, so I also checked using the Control Panel. This issue occurred a year ago, and I used CCleaner to confirm its removal. You can download the driver manually from the link provided: -> https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/drivers/. It might be necessary to reinstall Battlefield again. Other applications may also interfere, like Steam Overlay, Steelseries GG, and Razer. Some games have overlays that don't work well either. There are also apps that display an overlay.

Step 1: Launch the Control Panel by pressing Windows + S to access the search bar. Type "Control Panel" and press Enter or click the icon.
Step 2: Navigate to "Programs and Features." In the panel, select "Programs." Then choose "Programs and Features" to view installed software.
Step 3: Locate NVIDIA entries. Scroll through the list until you find something starting with "NVIDIA," such as NVIDIA Graphics Driver, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, or NVIDIA Control Panel.
Step 4: Uninstall the desired app. Click on the app (e.g., GeForce Experience) and click "Uninstall." Follow the prompts to finish.
Step 5: Restart your computer after uninstallation to confirm everything is cleared.

Yes, but before switching to safe mode to test it, download the complete newest driver set. When you restart Windows after connecting via DDU, leave the network cable disconnected during installation of the latest full driver package—don’t just install the Nvidia app version. To be clear, Battlefield 2042 and BF6 function properly with the Nvidia app, so there’s no conflict there; the issue lies with your system. @AustinProH you’re overcomplicating things, DDU handles everything at once. Also, GeForce Experience was replaced years ago by the Nvidia App, which is a completely different program.

I explored thoroughly since I faced the same problem before and felt really stuck for a while

It seems the issue might be connected to the system's firmware or hardware settings. The new Anticheat update appears to be running at the kernel level, which could affect stability. Also, a BIOS-related problem might explain the crashes and error messages you're seeing.

It hasn't logged a file even after reinstalling the drivers. Have you attempted to reinstall the games or checked for repairs? Are they installed on the correct drive? Does your Samsung drive hold the OS while Kingston manages the games?

I removed BF2042 and put in BF6 again. Ran diagnostics after several crashes. All titles are now set up on Kingston and the system is running on Samsung.

It turned out to be a defective CPU. When I disabled two of the six cores in the BIOS, all issues vanished. I replaced it with a new one and everything functioned properly.
