I recently assembled my own PC, and games have been functioning properly until suddenly both controller and mouse input lag became extremely high. It feels like I'm playing on a console. Temperatures are normal, and this issue occurred on my previous gaming PC I built as well. I performed a hard reset which took over an hour but didn't resolve the problem. Please help with the controller and mouse.
Thank you,
Seb.

Make and model of the PSU and its age? Controller and mouse make and model? Could also include specifications of your previous setup since the same problem occurred there. Did you reuse any components from the old system or share hardware such as the controller or peripherals with the new build?

EVGA 500w Psu had been my only purchase for a month. The controller was an Xbox Elite Series 2 and the mouse was a Logitech G Pro Wireless, both brand new and bought within the past three months. I used them on my old PC.

My previous setup included:
i9 9900k
2070 super
16gb 3600mhz

The only thing I kept from the old PC was the case; all other parts were brand new.

I've had the same issue for about a week now... have you already fixed it?

Nope, did you create it yourself? Keep working on it and let me know when you're ready.

I understand it's been some time, but did anyone come across the issue?
