I'm working on a reimagining project for my cousin's VIT M2400 and encountering an odd problem. Pressing the 'R' key always opens the right-click context menu. It seems like a software glitch, but I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting. Any suggestions or resources would be really helpful. Thanks!

Connect a USB keyboard. If the problem persists, it may appear on another keyboard as well. This is likely due to a short circuit. You can reach the cables by detaching the keyboard. If disconnecting the mouse cable resolves the issue, the mouse has a short.

It won't recognize the USB keyboard, yet it identifies the mouse. The left arrow and 'F' keys perform their actions together, while the Context menu and 'r' key also operate simultaneously.

I managed to fix the USB keyboard issue, and it seems the problem lies in the electrical connections. After removing the arrow keys and context key from keytweak, typing changed but some keys remained functional. Since she isn’t tech-savvy and relied heavily on the mouse, this workaround works for basic note-taking. Thanks Naeaes!
